Update on the Kamperstadt "VanGat" Biere de Garde

The beer is maturing nicely! There is a warmth and flavor from the alcohol that wasn't present earlier. It has a bit of a caramel-like cognac taste that was not detected earlier. The hop flavor is fading somewhat and there is a burnt-sugar/alcohol warmth that is only now starting to assert itself. Also, there is a citrus taste that is more noticeable now. The beer is benefiting from a prolonged cold storage and should likely improve with additional storage.
